How to evaluate a speech?

If you are a beginner in toastmasters/gavels remember there is never a end of learning and one of the important parts is evaluation. Lets get to the “HOW”

you should always follow the CRC approach

C– commendation (you can start your evaluation was nice/great/bronzer/amazing)

speak that what did the speaker tell in his speech.

R- recommendation (speak things that helps the speaker to improve)

C-commendation (say good things about speaker’s speech/body language/usage of props/clothing)

eg. what a wonderful speech (#name) Sopan. (#topic) You told us what is independence you also told us how did India fought against the Britishers to get freedom now we really understood why is independence SO important but every great speech has some recommendation 1.you can avoid referring to notes and learn the speech 2.you could use props 3.you could ask questions to make the speech interactive but overall your speech was amazing and i hope you will improve. thank you
