Today , I had a health and physical education test where my sports teacher taught us some yoga asanas for improving our concentration skills . These include 2 asanas :-
- VRIKSHASANA (tree pose ) – For the students , it is the best asana . I recommend you all to practice this asana everyday . It not only improves our concentration skills but also strengthens our spine and improves balance. Now , I will tell you the trick to perform this asana . While doing this , your eyes should be focusing on one particular object or in a particular direction . If you don’t Move you eye balls , you won’t fall. If you don’t believe me try doing this asana and watch in different directions , you will definitely fall (I really tried doing this to prove myself )
2. TRIKONASANA (triangle pose ) – This asana is beneficial for relieving stress , for children to increase their height and it improves digestion . Isn’t it interesting to form a triangle using your body , try and find it out !!!!!!!
I learnt that performing these asanas doesn’t take much time and should be performed daily .

Amazing Saesha. Do you remember I once challenged you to try standing on one leg with eyes closed. After reading your blog, I now know why that isn’t possible. Loved these asana’s made simple (asaan) :). Will do them daily.
Yes , I remember doing this with closed eyes, it is very difficult .
