recently , what I have observed is that my family members are throwing the leftover food in the bins or some of them accidently wasted it . i felt really bad and sad for the one who made it .
here are a few tips to respect food :-
- DON’T OVEREAT- This is what I see everyday .when everybody is just about to finish their food , they give a last check to what all is left in the main containers so that they can refill their plates . In the bowl ,usually little vegetables are left in the end and ready to be stored for later consumption . But to my surprise , even though they are full , they refill more food so that the food gets finished and nothing has to be saved for later meals . the reason is that they say ‘ why to save this much ( this will waste a container , it will reduce the space inside the refrigerator and etc blah blah……) and in the end they just say “just eat it and finish it ( kha ke khatam karo ).”
But what i prefer is that even if little food is left ,save it . Nowadays you can even recycle food by transforming the leftover food to a yummy delicious one !!!!!!!
2. DON’T THROW FOOD – sometimes I have seen that the food is thrown in the bins which is still fresh and can be consumed .And I never understand the reason behind it , I think such people should fit them in beggar’s shoes ( to understand their feelings and their situation) so that they will understand the importance of food .
Spoiled food could be thrown ( but it could be consumed before being spoiled ) . If fresh food is thrown then one day you will actually become a beggar
3. HANDLE FOOD WITH CARE – while arranging the cooked food on the table and while storing it , your focus should be on the utensil , if it’s a glass utensil and your carelessness broke it then not only your food will get wasted but moreover the utensil might hurt you and for upcoming days you will have to be really careful and should not forget to wear slippers or else the broken glass piece will hurt you foot .
These are some simple ways to respect food and the cook of your family ( mostly mothers ) will be proud of you .
? Very nice. Saesha
